In 2012, My Father Cigars released a Connecticut Shade version of its Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial as a regional release for the New England states in four sizes. A year later, a limited edition lonsdale size was added as a shop exclusive cigar to Chicago retailer Up Down Cigar for its 50th anniversary. That cigar is known as the Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial 10/50.
The Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial 10/50 is a mild to medium strength, medium-bodied cigar. Its going to deliver nice creamy notes upfront and during the second half takes on a woody and somewhat cedar profile. Overall it’s a nice smoke and worthy of a fiver.
