Hoyo La Amistad
Wrapper: | Ecuador Habano |
Binder: | Nicaraguan |
Filler: | Nicaraguan |
General Cigar collaborated A.J. Fernandez to help create the Hoyo La Amistad—expect this to be full-bodied. When I lit it it took me by surprise with the full Nicaraguan flavor. The Robusto, 5 by 54 is the one I had peppery…but after a few minutes even it mellowed out a bit and settled nicely.

I just had this smoke for the first time recently. I remember hearing a lot of hype on this particular blend late last year. For me this was a decent cigar but did not live up to the hype surrounding it upon its initial release.
