These landed this week and consist of a Nicaraguan Jalapa wrapper, Dominican binder, and Broadleaf Connecticut, Dominican & Nicaraguan fillers. More mild than I expected in both strength and flavor. The pre-light had a very unique pre-light aroma of tea. I enjoyed it a great deal in the AM with coffee. There is a fair amount of complexity. Tea seemed to be the base with some hay, leather, and nuttiness making appearances. Some cedar picks up on the second half. I am really looking forward to trying the Belicoso during this Episode. Available in boxes of ten for less than $8.00 a cigar, I am going to give the Jalapa Robusto a “Box Worthy” rating.
