5 X 46 Box Pressed Corona Gorda
Wrapper: Ecuadorian Habano Rosado
Binder and Filler: Nicaraguan Jalapa and Esteli
$6.50
I have always been a fan of what Eddie Ortega has done in the cigar business, that goes for now as well as back in his EO days. In my opinion he has delivered on his mission of bring reasonably priced, yet enjoyable cigars to market. The Serie D is no difference for me. I had the opportunity to try a new size in the natural line, which I tend to prefer over the maduro. It has a great deal of pepper spice but that is balanced nicely with a woody sweetness (similar to what you get when you smoke meat). It did not change up much but the flavor profile was pleasing to me. This is a sold fiver for me.
