The Camacho Liberty 2013 is the latest installment of this annual release by Camacho Cigars. This year’s edition is a little different because while the Liberty still comes in its trademark coffin box. this year Camacho has integrated its new Bold Standard theme into the packaging of the release.
The one thing that I thought was that from a flavor standpoint, the Liberty 2013 had a Davidoff-esque feel to it. I tasted notes of earth, grass, wood, natural tobacco, and pepper. The pepper did stand out as it had somewhat of an exotic spice flavor. The flavors were in the medium to full-bodied range. I did find this cigar to have some kick. It starts out medium to full strength and ramps up to full strength at the end.
The Camacho Liberty 2013 is not a bad cigar. I’m not sure this is a cigar I’d make room for five coffins in my humidor. This is a cigar I’d still pick up.
