Wrapper: Brazilian Cubra
Binder: Dominican Habano
Filler: Nicaraguan Cuban Seed
Toro: 5 7/8 x 52
Price: $45.00 (5 Pack)
This was a limited run of 1200 boxes done in three sizes for Cigar Interntional. I first learned of this cigar from listener Adam. We had been discussing cigars that use a Brazilian Cubra wrapper and I was unaware of this one from E.P. Carrillo. Adam was kind enough to send me one.
Overall, this was an interesting cigar. It had notes of nut, white pepper, and bread notes. At times the cigar exhibited a bit of sourness. This is a classic medium strength, medium-bodied cigar with an excellent burn and draw.
Overall, it wasn’t my flavor profile, but that doesn’t mean this is a bad cigar. Still I’d recommend you give this a try and see what you think.
