The differentiating factor on this My Father – it replaces the Ecuadorian Rosado wrapper with a Connecticut Broadleaf.

This cigar was recently assessed in-depth on Cigar Coop.

After a short blast of pepper, this cigar delivers bittersweet chocolate (literally both bitter and sweet notes) and earth. As the cigar progresses it moves to a more earthy profile. The pepper ramps up until the end. The flavors are medium-bodied. The strength also starts out medium but there is somewhat of an increase toward the end.

To quote Seth from Seth’s Humidor, this is an entertaining smoke. It isn’t something that is revolutionary. It’s a nice broadleaf smoke and it was interesting to see how this blend performed with broadleaf. It’s still worth a fiver in my book.
