Wrapper: Nicaraguan Corojo
Binder: Nicaraguan
Filler: Nicaraguan
Clasico: 5 x 50
Price: $8.50
This was a blend done by the Garcias for Ashton. This is was original blend of Ashton’s San Cristobal line.
This cigar has been around for a while and it really stands the test of time. This cigar had to be sitting in my humidor for almost 4 years. It still delivers great flavor. This cigar speaks the term “assorted spices” as I pick up classic pepper, sweet baker’s spice, and even some exotic spices. There are also notes of coffee, earth, and even a touch of cream not he finish. This is still a highly complex cigar. It starts out medium to full bodied and moves to a full-bodied cigar. The strength is also still there.
Definitely a box worthy cigar – and in the Robusto, this one is the Belle of the Ball.
