At the 2014 IPCPR Trade Show, a 4 x 44 line extension was added to the EH and OSOK line called Cabroncito. Today we look closer at the EH Cabroncito.

The EH line of cigars was the first line released by Edgar Hoill Cigars. Edgar Hoill Cigars is a partnership between Hoill and Christian Eiroa. Late in 2012, it was announced that Hoill would be joining CLE Cigar Company (then Fabricas Unidas) as the fourth brand under that umbrella.

This is a short smoke, and a nice one at that. While the short duration does not allow for a lot of flavor transitions, I did find the flavor profile was excellent. Given this is a Nicaraguan puro, it behaves like one. It delivers notes of earth and pepper spice. There is a nice cocoa note that floats in and out. The strength and body are medium to full while the burn and draw are excellent.

This is a nice addition to the EH line. It provides a wonderful short smoke as the winter months settle in. This is definitely worth a fiver.
