The Buckingham is a limited edition cigar produced by Crowned Heads for the online social cigar community Cigar Federation. The name Buckingham is symbolic to changes happening on Cigar Federation itself. Earlier this year, it was announced that Logan Lawler who was managing the community had purchased Cigar Federation. Lawler’s acquisition is symbolic as a “changing of the guard” at Cigar Federation.
It is yet another 2014 limited release by Crowned Heads coming out of the My Father Cigars factory. A total of 2,000 cigars in ten count mazos were produced.
Overall this cigar is going to deliver a lot of mocha, pepper, and grapefruit notes. The mocha is really the one flavor that demonstrated some complexity – at times it was more coffee-like and other times it was more chocolately. The big difference with this cigar was in the strength and body. This is a full-bodied smoke with a kick. The strength level started out medium to full and is full strength by the second half.
Overall this was a nice release by Crowned Heads and is worth a fiver.
