The Herrera Esteli Lancero – Edicion Limitada 2014 is the sixth frontmark to be released Drew Estate’s Herrera Esteli line. Production of the lancero was limited to 2,000 boxes of 15 for a total of 30,000 cigars.

Overall I found some parallels to the Herrera Esteli Lonsdale. The big difference is that the lancero had a little more in the way of cedar notes and spice overall. I also did not get some of the vanilla notes I picked up on the lonsdale. I also picked up notes of toast, natural tobacco, and nut. Overall I found the flavors to be medium to full bodied countered by medium strength. The burn and draw were excellent.

A very good vitola, but not the Belle of the Ball. I put it third behind the lonsdale (Belle of the Ball) and corona.
