The Señorial 65th Anniversary Perfecto Elégance is the second release by José Blanco’s new company Las Cumbres Tabaco. In 2014, the company launched its first release, the Señorial. While the Señorial is a regular production cigar produced across five sizes, the Señorial 65th Anniversary is a limited production cigar that is being produced in only a perfecto format. The Señorial 65th Anniversary also is a completely different blend than the regular production Señorial in that it is a Dominican puro.

This is a very well made perfecto and it produces some notes of earth, grain, baker’s spice (including a nice cinnamon-like note), and a unique plum flavor. This cigar really builds up in strength and body. The notes are medium to full and progress to full-bodied by the last third. Meanwhile the strength starts out in the medium range and by the end of the cigar it’s operating at full power.

This is an outstanding release by José Blanco. It’s somewhat different than the regular production line. It is definitely worth getting a box of these.
