It seems like this cigar gets little fanfare in the Davidoff Nicaragua line. Mark Jr has been praising this cigar as a potential Bell of the Ball in the Davidoff Nicaragua line and I could not agree with him more.
This is a medium to full cigar in terms of strength and body. This cigar delivers a mix of coffee, cedar, and Henke Kelner styled black-pepper. At times this exhibits a caramel sweetness and I can also detect some classic Davidoff grassy notes in the background. This isn’t going to have as much of the nutty flavors as the larger ring gauges.
A hefty price point for a short smoke, but one of the best cigars under 4″ I have ever smoked. This is definitely box worthy in my book.
